Growth Mindset Quote of the Month
There isnt a person anywhere who isnt capable of doing more than he thinks he can.
(Henry Ford)

Dear Forest Avenue Families,

As the school year draws to a close, I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to the parents of our Home & School Association for all of their hard work. They have truly done an outstanding job in support of our school community. Thank you to our board members for their leadership, dedication and support: Lisa Louis & Jill Evans (Co-Presidents), Christina Hermann and Stephanie Hermann (Vice Presidents), Raquel Marotta (Secretary), and Julia Wilkinson (Treasurer). In addition, I would like to give a shout out to Julia Wilkinson who publishes the Falcon Focus each month and organized Fun Day, Joanne Donahue, who organized the Book Fair, Dan Hannon who runs the Home & School Website, Christina Hermann who maintains our school sign, Kelly Haley who organized Hudsons Got Talent Junior, and to all of the volunteers who helped make the Fun Run such a huge success. Thank you for all of your effort and support!
During our May Home & School Meeting, elections were held for the 2022 2023 School Year. I am happy to announce the board members for the upcoming school year: Jill Evans (President), Christina Hermann and Stephanie Hermann (Co-Vice Presidents),
Julia Wilkinson and Lisa Louis (Co-Treasurers), and Raquel Marotta (Secretary). I am sure
that with their leadership we are in for another great year.
As we get closer to the end of another school year, I also want thank our students, families, and staff for all of your patience, understanding, and support. No one could have anticipated the challenges that we would face dealing with the continued presence of COVID-19. Working together we have maintained a safe and supportive learning environment as we continue to move towards the new normal of public education.
In closing, I want to congratulate the members of our fourth grade class. It has been a
pleasure serving as your Principal. I wish you the best of luck as you begin your middle school journey. I hope that everyone has a safe and enjoyable summer vacation and I look forward to seeing all of you next fall.

Sincerely,
David Champigny
